Thanks to all who came out on October 2nd, 2010, to the Gardiner Museum during Toronto's Nuit Blanche!! Glass artist Melina Young and I created an interactive poetry performance installation called Nice Bumping Into You, commissioned by Diaspora Dialogues for "Future City", a collaboration between Diaspora Dialogues, Humber School of Creative and Performing Arts and Gardiner Museum. On a lightboard dining room table on the third floor, thousands of people wrote on close to 100 glowing, delectable fused glass tile "post-it notes", an evolving puzzle of impromptu text and image made throughout the 12-hour art party.
